Gokudera - Katekyo Hitman Reborn (calendar version)
Commissioned in June 09This suit was the first I made using the Burda pattern from HELL. I had a terrible time deciphering which sizes related to which measurements, and wound up just measuring the pattern pieces themselves. Which is a good habit anyway, but not having the vaguest idea how they were sizing things was a pain in the ass. Got it in the end though, obviously - and it was quite cool, because I made another one identical shortly afterwards! This one was for a fourteen year old boy, so was requested to make allowances for adjustment later on. I allowed several inches at the hem of jacket and pants, which turned out to be a good thing - I suspect he will be TALL. All photos by me. Shot on a trip I took up to Auckland for another shoot :)
