Haruhi, Yuki and Mikuru (bunny versions) - The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi
Commissioned in March 10
I admit it - I am a contributor to the under-dressedness of our nation's youth! At least this way I know they won't fall out at an inopportune moment :) All three leotards are lined, and boned at the front seams. I had originally planned to use clear straps as well, but unfortunately ran out of time - these were a rush job, and due to a number of unforseen circumstances weren't finished until the day of the convention. The straps, I fear, were forgotten!
The tails were fun - just a ~45cm diameter circle of fur with a channel sewn around the edge, cord threaded through and tied off. The ears were wired and hotglued to a wire headband - not the greatest method of attaching them, but no other brainwaves arrived in time. The cuffs and collars were simple, and the bowties attach to the collars with alligator clips.
